A young British woman stumbles through the streets of her German hometown and collapses. Her name is Alice Webster and she has been missing for 11 years. This fascinating, complex and personal thriller explores how a family, and a community, copes when a young girl missing for more than a decade suddenly returns.
Een jonge Britse vrouw strompelt door de straten van haar Duitse geboortestad en stuikt in mekaar. Haar naam is Alice Webster, en ze is 11 jaar lang vermist geweest. Alices terugkeer zendt schokgolven door de kleine gemeenschap. Waar is ze geweest? Wie heeft haar vastgehouden? En met wie werd ze vastgehouden?
