I used the space where I filmed as a starting point in my search for strategies to come to an adequate cinematographic translation of the relationship between specific spaces and the people passing time in them.

synopsis

A documentary exploring how spaces acquire form and meaning by the physical presence of myself and the subjects I filmed. A study of colour and light, the textures of walls, of how the physical body disappears in the surrounding spaces and what part of its presence remains visible.
J’ai utilisé les endroits dans lesquels j’ai filmé comme un point de départ pour mes recherches de stratégie pour arriver à une traduction cinématographique adéquate des relations entre des endroits spécifiques et les personnes qui y passent du temps. C’est devenu une étude sur la manière dont ces espaces acquièrent une forme et une signification grâce à ma présence physique et celle des personnes que je filmais. Une étude sur la couleur et la lumière, la texture des murs, sur comment les corps physiques disparaissent dans l’espace qui les entoure, sur la partie de leur présence qui reste visible, sur ces personnes très spécifiques, sur la manière dont je les regardais.
