synopsis

Erik and Lenny, two men in dire straits, stumble upon a WW2 resistance cellar in the Ardennes. The cellar has weapons, counterfeiting tools and a few bottles of wine. The men see a great opportunity for a swindle. They persuade a Brussels antiquarian that the wine is the Führer’s and forge a letter to prove it. They hope to make a ton of cash but the interested parties are more numerous and shadowy than expected. When arts expert Judith and gangster moll Rosy want their share, the swindle gets wildly out of hand.
Erik et Lenny, deux cambrioleurs de circonstance, tombent sur une cave de résistant de la Seconde Guerre mondiale dans les Ardennes. La cave contient des armes, des instruments de contrefaçon et quelques bouteilles de vin. Les hommes y voient une belle possibilité d'escroquerie. Ils parviennent à persuader un antiquaire bruxellois que le vin appartenait au Führer et ils fabriquent une lettre pour le prouver. Ils pensent avoir touché le gros lot, mais les acheteurs sont plus nombreux et plus louches que prévu. Lorsque Judith, une experte en art, et Rosy, une fiancée de gangster, veulent leur part, l'escroquerie devient incontrôlable.
Erik en Lenny, twee mannen op de pechstrook van het leven, stoten per toeval op een verzetskelder met oude wijn en wapens uit WOII. De oplichters-uit-noodzaak overtuigen een Brussels antiquair ervan dat de wijn van de Führer was en hopen zo een smak geld te verdienen. Er blijken meer en schimmiger geïnteresseerden te zijn dan verwacht. Wanneer kunstexperte Judith en gansterliefje Rosy hun deel opeisen loopt de zwendel helemaal uit de hand.
