synopsis

At the start of the summer season, Ismail and Hakan are preparing for their new jobs in a gigantic all-inclusive hotel on the Turkish Riviera. They observe the colourful swimsuits, the unemptied plates, the different ways of addressing other people, and gradually discover new opportunities to move ahead in life. ALL-IN explores the loss of innocence against the backdrop of a fading European dream. Initial kindness turns into indifference as Ismail and Hakan's initiation into the absurd world of Western tourism soon leads them to ask: which dreams are really worth aspiring to?
Bij de start van het nieuwe zomerseizoen gaan Ismail en Hakan aan de slag in een gigantisch all-inclusive hotel aan de Turkse Rivièra. In een wereld van kleurrijke zwemoutfits, overdadige buffetten en verholen machtsrelaties, ontdekken ze geleidelijk aan de mogelijkheden om vooruit te komen in het leven. Maar al snel doet de inwijding in het absurde westerse toerisme de vraag stellen: welke dromen zijn het echt waard om na te jagen? Wanneer Hakan genoeg heeft van zijn onzichtbaarheid in het hotel, slaat de initiële vriendelijkheid om in onverschilligheid. ALL-IN verkent het verlies van onschuld tegen de achtergrond van een vervagende Europese droom.
