A fictional day in the life of the elderly artist Pjeroo Roobjee offers a dreamlike setting for a singular exploration of the origins of his art.

synopsis

A poetic essay about the notorious Belgian artist/writer Pjeroo Roobjee (born 1945). By using a surreal mixture of animation and live action, the filmmaker brings to life his eccentric and provocative thoughts. Through a prose text written for the film, the director enables Roobjee to voice both intimate musings and firm statements on his life and work.
Un essai poé tique sur la vie et l'oeuvre de l'artiste Belge, Pjeroo Roobjee (° 1945). A travers un mélange d'animation et d'action en direct, le cinéaste fait revivre ses pensé es multiverse et provocateurs excentriques. Grâce à un texte en prose écrite pour le film, elle permet Roobjee d'exprimer les réflexions intimes et ces dé clarations fermes sur sa vie et de travail. L'origine de son talent artistique et littéraire est exploré pendant une journée fictive dans sa vie actuelle.
Een poëtische essay over de notoire Belgische kunstenaar/schrijver Pjeroo Roobjee (° 1945). Door het gebruik van een surrealistische mix van animatie en live action, brengt de filmmaker zijn excentrieke multiversum en provocerende gedachten tot leven. Door middel van een proza tekst geschreven voor de film, stelt ze Roobjee in de gelegenheid om zowel intieme mijmeringen als stevige uitspraken over zijn leven en werk te uiten. Binnen een fictieve dag uit het leven van deze seniore kunstenaar, verkent het droomachtige decor de oorsprong van zijn kunstenaarschap.
