Following the deaths of his father and many others from his village, filmmaker Daniel Lambo sets off on a passionate quest to find the truth about the deadly asbestos industry. His search takes him to the largest asbestos waste dump in India and unveils a cold-blooded industry still endangering the lives of workers and consumers around the world. A gripping story on the fight of individuals against a booming asbestos industry.
Après la mort de son père et de nombreuses autres personnes dans son village en Flandre, le réalisateur Daniel Lambo entame une quête passionnante pour découvrir la vérité sur la dangereuse industrie de l’amiante. Ses recherches l’emmène dans la plus grande décharge à ciel ouvert d’amiante en Inde et révèle une industrie sans compassion, qui met en danger, aujourd’hui encore et sur toute la planète, les vies des travailleurs et des consommateurs. Un film passionnant sur le combat d’êtres humains face à une industrie qui grandit encore.
Na de dood van zijn vader en vele anderen in zijn geboortedorp begint regisseur Daniel Lambo een onderzoek om de waarheid te achterhalen over de dodelijke asbestindustrie. Zijn zoektocht leidt hem naar het grootste asbeststort in India. De regisseur ontrafelt een kille industrie die nog steeds arbeiders en consumenten aan het dodelijke asbest blootstellen. Een pakkende film over de strijd van individuen tegen een groeiende asbestindustrie.
