synopsis

Bullets is a character-driven drama thriller about gifted undercover cop Mari Saari, who delves dangerously deep into the roles that she is playing. In season one, she infiltrates the inner circle of suicide bomber recruiter Madina who has travelled to Finland for her final mission. The only way to prevent the unthinkable from happening is for Mari to befriend the menacing Madina. But everything is not as it seems. The real reason she has come to Finland is not destruction, but reconstruction, as she tries to reunite with her long-lost daughter. In exchange for her daughter, a hidden cabal of conspirators are forcing Madina to execute a political assassination disguised as a terrorist attack. Mari needs to reveal hidden forces operating behind the scenes who are pressuring Madina.
Bullets is een personagegedreven drama thriller over de uitzonderlijk getalenteerde undercoveragente Mari Saari, die zich gevaarlijk diep in de rollen stort die ze speelt. Mari infiltreert in het milieu van de vertrouwelingen van Madina Taburova, een ronselaar van zelfmoordterroristen die naar Finland gereisd is voor haar laatste missie. De enige manier om te vermijden dat het ondenkbare zou gebeuren, is dat Mari bevriend geraakt met de bedreigende Madina. Maar niet alles is wat het lijkt. De echte reden waarom Madina naar Finland is gekomen, is niet om te vernietigen, maar om herop te bouwen: Madina probeert zich te verenigen met haar lang verloren dochter. In ruil voor haar dochter dwingt een geheime groep samenzweerders Madina om een politieke moord uit te voeren, onder het mom van een terroristische aanslag. Mari moet de verborgen krachten blootleggen die achter de schermen aan het werk zijn om Madina te dwingen om een dodelijke aanval uit te voeren.
