Ava, 14, is trying to find her way through the complex relationship between her divorced parents. Her mother, Naomi, a once-successful techno DJ, is determined to revive her career and stage an international comeback. Ava's father, Dominique, has stepped away from the frantic nightlife and now leads a quieter life. As Ava is increasingly drawn into her mother's vibrant world, she becomes entangled in the expectations and dreams of both her parents.
Ava, 14, probeert een weg te vinden in de complexe relatie tussen haar gescheiden ouders. Haar moeder Naomi, een voormalig succesvolle techno-DJ, wil haar carrière nieuw leven inblazen en is vastbesloten om internationaal een comeback te maken. Ava's vader Dominique heeft zich teruggetrokken uit het hectische nachtleven en leidt nu een rustiger bestaan. Terwijl Ava steeds meer wordt meegezogen in het bruisende uitgaansleven van haar moeder, raakt ze verstrikt in de verwachtingen en dromen van haar ouders.
