synopsis

Three 'Bukowskian' torrid nights in the life of a man in search of love. Harry Voss, 12, is young and naive. Love, for him, is romantic love between princes and princesses demurely kissing each other on the mouth. His father is a hero who kidnapped his mother and married her on a lonely mountain peak... Later on, he'll do the same. But Harry has a lot to learn. He learns about 'being hot' and 'fucking' and about what you have to do when you're alone and 'feel the itch'. He also learns that there are handsome men and ugly ones, that love can be unfair. That one can find comfort in drinking... but above all he learns that man is capable of anything - absolutely anything! - to get his fair share of love.
Trois nuits torrides « bukowskienne » dans la vie d’un homme en quête d’amour. Harry Voss, 12 ans, est jeune et naïf. L’amour, selon lui, est l’amour romantique entre les princes et les princesses qui s’embrassent continuellement sur la bouche. Son père est un héros qui a kidnappé sa mère et l’a épousée sur le sommet d’une montagne isolée. Plus tard, il fera de même. Mais Harry a beaucoup à apprendre. Il apprend ce que veulent dire « être torride » et « baiser » et ce qu’il faut faire lorsqu’on est seul et qu’on « en a très envie ». Il apprend aussi qu’il y a des hommes beaux et des moches, que l’amour peut être injuste et que certains peuvent trouver du réconfort dans l’alcool. Mais surtout, il apprend que l’homme est capable de tout - absolument tout !- pour obtenir sa part équitable d’amour.
