synopsis

Don't Take It Personally is a film concert that intertwines themes of historical denial, collective violence, exile, and resistance. This experimental film serves as a powerful indictment of human behaviour and societal dynamics during tumultuous times, driven by capitalism and imperial greed. In a world increasingly suffocated by systemic injustices, where many are denied the right to breathe, this cinematic score emerges as a reclamation of that breath. Through the rhythm and cadence of its sequences, Jureša invites the viewer to experience capitalism as a pervasive infection, designed to seep systemic toxicity into the smallest details of our daily lives.
Don't Take It Personally est un film concert qui conjugue les thèmes du déni historique, de la violence collective, de l'exil et de la résistance. Ce film est un réquisitoire contre le comportement humain et la dynamique sociétale, sous l'impulsion du capitalisme et de la cupidité impériale. Dans un monde de plus en plus étouffé par les injustices systémiques, cette partition cinématographique émerge comme une revendication de ce souffle. À travers le rythme et la cadence de ses séquences, Jureša invite le spectateur à faire l'expérience du capitalisme comme d'une infection omniprésente, conçue pour infiltrer la toxicité systémique dans les moindres détails de nos vies quotidiennes.
Don't Take It Personally is een filmconcert waarin thema's als historische ontkenning, collectief geweld, ballingschap en verzet met elkaar verweven zijn. Deze film is een aanklacht tegen menselijk gedrag en maatschappelijke dynamiek die wordt gedreven door kapitalisme en imperiale hebzucht. In een wereld die steeds meer verstikt wordt door systemische onrechtvaardigheid, komt deze filmmuziek naar voren als een rechtvaardiging van die adem. Door het ritme en de cadans van zijn sequenties nodigt Jureša de kijker uit om het kapitalisme te ervaren als een doordringende infectie, ontworpen om systemische giftigheid te infiltreren in de kleinste details van ons dagelijks leven.
