A series of animated shorts for young audiences, fusing imagination and reality. They are based on the stories of six children, from Venezuela, Afghanistan, Syria, Guatemala, Ukraine and South Sudan, who flee their homes in order to survive.

synopsis

Through interviews, we learn the stories of six child refugees, but instead of simply representing what they say on screen, we focus on their imaginative way of describing the migrant journey. Using the full capabilities of animation, each child is represented by a fictional character who can move freely between the real and the imaginary world. This serves as a metaphor for the consequences of leaving home and having to adapt to a new reality, experiencing xenophobia, and grieving for those left behind, while creating a universal depiction of what it is like to be a migrant.
