synopsis

During the night, a young woman finds herself alone amidst the remains of a garden party. She muses on receiving recognition in the artistic world as well as in love. Her thoughts, desires and lovers mix with reality, as the young woman gets more and more entangled with the complexity of her own identity. FEMALE/UNKNOWN is an emotional existential rollercoaster ride which takes place at one location, in one take.
Gedurende een nacht bevindt een jonge vrouw zich  tussen de overblijfselen van een tuinfeest.  Ze mijmert over erkenning in de kunstwereld en in de liefde.  Gedachten, verlangens en geliefden sijpelen binnen in de realiteit, terwijl de jonge vrouw meer verstrikt geraakt in de complexiteit van haar identiteit.   FEMALE/UNKNOWN is een emotionele, existentiële rollercoaster die zich afspeelt  op één locatie, in één take.
