synopsis

In an undefined setting, workers are doing a neverending series of monotonous tasks. Their bodies seem to be stuck in repetitive movements, while in their mind they're able to escape the scene. Thoughts travel away to the rhythm of their actions. Or is this freedom limited by the frequency of the work?
In een ongedefinieerd decor voeren arbeiders monotoon werk uit. Het repetitieve karakter laat hen toe te ontsnappen aan hun fysieke aanwezigheid. Ze reizen weg in gedachten op de maat van de arbeid. Of geeft het werk net een ritme aan dat hun innerlijke vrijheid beperkt?
