synopsis

Although more lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer and intersex people are now open about who they are, they still experience fear, violence and discrimination. As a result, many modify their behaviour in public spaces. Gay Simulator immerses the viewer this contemporary LGBTQI+ experience.
Meer lesbische, gay, biseksuele, trans-, intersekse en queer personen ( LGBTIQ+) zijn nu open over wie ze zijn, maar angst, geweld en discriminatie blijven groot. Veel queers passen hun gedrag aan in de openbare ruimte om dit geweld te kunnen vermijden. Alleen maar omdat ze verliefd worden op iemand van hetzelfde geslacht. Gay Simulator is een interactief VR-kunstwerk met game-elementen dat inzicht geeft in het verhaal van een hedendaagse lesbienne.
