It’s love at first sight when twenty-somethings Billie and Benjamin meet on a bachelor party weekend. They are a match made in heaven. Back home, however, a minor disagreement reveals that Benjamin is a right-wing asshole and Billie a left-wing bitch.
synopsis
- Hate to Love You is a comedy-drama about polarisation. It’s about blind hatred for the ‘other side’. It’s about how we dig our heels in and take ever more extreme positions, just to make our point. Each of us is in our own echo chamber, supported by like-minded ‘friends’ on social media.
- Late twintigers Billie en Benjamin worden op een vrijgezellenweekend stapelverliefd op elkaar. Ze lijken een match made in heaven. Tot een banale discussie de linkse trut in Billie en de rechtse lul in Benjamin naar boven haalt.
