When they agree to fix up an old hotel, Samson and Gert get more than they bargain for.

synopsis

Samson and Gert forgo their planned vacation to renovate an old hotel. It must be done within a week, or it will be demolished. They get to work, with the help of their loyal but clumsy friends. What they don't know is that two crooks have hidden a stolen diamond in the hotel, inside a football. And when they get out of prison, they want it back.
Samson en Gert zien af van hun geplande vakantie, om het oude hotel van Marlènekes opa te renoveren. Dat moet binnen een week, anders wordt het afgebroken. Ze gaan aan de slag, met de hulp van hun trouwe maar onhandige vrienden. Wat ze echter niet weten, is dat twee boeven ooit hun buit, een diamant, hebben verstopt in een voetbal in het gebouw. Wanneer de twee schurken de gevangenis verlaten, willen ze hun schat ophalen. Samson en Gert vinden de diamant en krijgen vindersloon, dat gebruikt wordt voor de verbouwing.
