synopsis

Astrid, a young artist, has turned her back on the world and, in a deserted landscape, works on a piece of land-art. Days pass and her loneliness becomes stifling until she meets eccentric geologist Emily. Quickly they form a deep connection. Far away from the real world, in a wild and beautiful environment, they can fantasise, dream and philosophise carelessly. Their lives seem temporarily idyllic.
Astrid heeft haar rug gekeerd naar de wereld en woont in haar auto in een verlaten gebied waar ze aan haar landschapskunstwerk werkt. De dagen verstrijken en haar eenzaamheid wordt overweldigend. Totdat ze op een dag de excentrieke en nuchtere geologe Emily tegenkomt. Ze vormen een diepe band. Hun leven is idyllisch: ver weg van de echte wereld, in een woest en prachtig landschap, kunnen ze onbezorgd vrijen, dromen en filosoferen.
