More than 50 years after the fire in the Brussels Innovation Centre in which his parents died, Herman remains convinced that it was not an accident and determines to take action.

synopsis

May 22, 1967. A devastating fire in the Brussels Innovation Centre kills 323, injuring hundreds. In this disaster, 13-year-old Herman loses his parents. More than 50 years later, he invites Delphine, the former leader of a communist action group, to meet. He believes the fire was caused by a bomb attack by Delphine's Commune Che and wants to confront her and take revenge. The disaster changed the course of their lives forever: both lost their innocence and youth.
Tegen de achtergrond van de catastrofale brand in de Brusselse Inno in mei 1967 zullen de levens van twee mensen elkaar kruisen. Delphine is een idealistische activiste in het bruisende, woelige Brussel van eind jaren ’60. Johan groeit op in het rustige, landelijke Loksbergen en ziet op de ochtend van 22 mei zijn ouders vertrekken voor een daguitstap naar de Inno. Ze zullen niet meer thuis komen.
