De documentaire toont het bijzondere parcours van topcurator Jan Hoet, evenals de controversiële mens achter dit parcours. Een passioneel man met een onblusbare honger naar kunst, radicaal in zijn eerlijkheid en zijn geloof in de totale intellectuele en emotionele vrijheid.
