Seventeen-year-old Leilah, a smart girl from a conservative Muslim family falls in love with her nineteen-year-old neighbour Berwout, son of a neo-fascist Flemish nationalist. The often hilarious and politically incorrect story is set in Kassablanka, a popular multi-ethnic district in Antwerp, during the week prior to Black Sunday, October 8, 2002 - when one third of the Antwerp electorate voted for the extreme right-wing Flemish Bloc.
Leilah, un jeune fille intelligente de 17 ans qui provient d'une famille musulmane conservatrice tombe amoureuse de son voisin de 19 ans, Berwout, le fils d'un nationaliste flamand néo-fasciste. L'histoire politiquement incorrecte et souvent hilarante se déroule à Kassablanka, une région multiethnique à Anvers, pendant la semaine précédant le Black Sunday du 8 octobre 2002, lorsque le tiers des électeurs anversois vota pour le Vlaamse Block, le parti d'extrême droite flamand.
