L’histoire fabuleuse d’un gardien de troupeaux mongol confronté à son destin de shaman. Lorsqu’une épidémie dévaste le pays, tous les animaux sont tués et les nomades sont délocalisés de force dans les villes minières. Il découvre par la suite que cette épidémie était en fait un stratagème pour éradiquer leur style de vie.
