Kid, a seven-year-old boy, is desperate to be reunited with his mother after his family implodes.

synopsis

Seven-year-old Kid lives with his mother and his slightly older brother Billy on a farm outside a small town. Since their father abandoned them a few years before, they have had to fend for themselves and their finances are in ruins. Then fate strikes and the two boys are forced to move in with their uncle and aunt. Kid misses his mother and is desperate to be with her again.
Kid, un petit garçon de sept ans, vit avec sa mère et son frère Billy, à peine plus âgé que lui, dans une ferme située à l'extérieur d'une petite ville. Depuis que leur père les a abandonné quelques années plus tôt, ils ont dû se débrouiller seuls et leurs finances sont en ruine. Le destin frappe à nouveau. Les deux petits garçons doivent déménager avec leur oncle et leur tante. La mère de Kid lui manque plus que jamais, et il veut la retrouver.
