synopsis

When André, Bart and David volunteer to help a friend renovate an old farmhouse, it quickly becomes apparent that they are not the young men they once were. Their talk is by turns serious and sarcastic, as it always was, but the familiar routines can’t hide the fact that they are all getting older.
Als jeugdvrienden André, Bart en David, allen diep in de 50, gaan klussen in een oude opgekochte hoeve van vriend Joost in België, blijken ze niet langer onsterfelijk. Ze wisselen nog steeds moeiteloos loodzware ernst af met slap ouwehoeren, maar daarmee ontkomen ze niet aan het feit dat ze ouder worden. Loyaliteit, noodlot en humor zijn hun reddingsboei om de volgende fase in hun leven onder ogen te zien.
