synopsis

After his mother's death, eight-year-old Nino skips school, stops washing and eats crisps for breakfast. At first it seems great fun, but the boy comes to miss the attention and affection from his dad and his brother. When he discovers he can talk to animals, his pet rabbit Bobby proves invaluable.
Sinds zijn moeder is overleden doet de achtjarige Nino alleen nog maar doet wat hij zelf wil: hij gaat niet meer naar school, niet meer in bad en eet chips als ontbijt. In het begin lijkt dit leuk, maar als zijn vader de hele dag verdrietig in bed blijft en zijn broer 's nachts de stad op stelten zet met de kleurrijke City Warriors, staat al snel de jeugdzorg op de stoep. Met de pientere adviezen van zijn geestige konijn Bobby, weet Nino zijn familie weer op de rails te krijgen.
