We follow Lubnan, a young man newly arrived in Belgium from Iraq, on his struggle to get his papers - a process full of despair but also resilience and humour.

synopsis

Lubnan is a young man from Iraq who has just arrived in Belgium. While he is struggling to get his papers, he takes us on an existential journey through his feelings, thoughts and desires. me miss me is a rollercoaster of emotions through a life full of despair, but also full of resilience and humour. Away from his home and family, Lubnan searches for his identity. What if you cannot be yourself anymore? What if your existence has become almost invisible?
Lubnan est un jeune homme originaire d'Irak qui vient d'arriver en Belgique. Alors qu'il se bat pour obtenir ses papiers, il nous emmène dans un voyage existentiel à travers ses sentiments, ses pensées et ses aspirations. me miss me est une succession d'émotions dans une vie pleine de désespoir, mais aussi d'énergie et d'humour. Loin de son pays et de sa famille, Lubnan cherche son identité. Que se passe-t-il quand vous ne pouvez plus être vous-même et que votre existence est presque devenue invisible ?
Lubnan is een jonge man uit Irak die net in België is aangekomen. Terwijl hij worstelt om zijn papieren te krijgen, neemt hij ons mee op een existentiële reis door zijn gevoelens, gedachten en verlangens. me miss me is een rollercoaster van emoties door een leven vol vertwijfeling, maar ook vol veerkracht en humor. Weg van zijn huis en familie, zoekt Lubnan naar zijn identiteit. Wat als je jezelf niet meer kan zijn, en als je bestaan bijna onzichtbaar is geworden?
