Based on a novel by Hernan Rivera Letelier, the story of the unique love story between a pianist for silent films and a jazz trumpeter, set against the backdrop of Pampa-Terminal, a saltpetre mine located in Northern Chile.

synopsis

1920s, Atacama Desert: Pampa-Terminal, a saltpetre mine located in Northern Chile, is a home for its workers, executives and a few families. It is a town waiting to become an 'Official City', experiencing trade union conflicts and bloody repression. But above all, Pampa-Terminal is the fertile ground for the blossoming of the unique love story between Hirondelle Rivery del Rosario, a pianist for silent films, and Bello Sandalio, a jazz trumpeter.
