An animated exploration of the state of the dying panda population.

synopsis

There are only 1,600 pandas left. To survive, they must be twice as imaginative and fight as much as they can, with humour and derision, against deforestation and the destruction of their environment.
C’est mignon un Panda. Ca mange des bambous, c’est débonnaire, c’est le symbole du WWF, ça ne plait pas qu’aux enfants et c’est très télégénique. Le problème, c’est qu’il n’y en a plus que 1 600 et qu’ils ne savent pas comment faire pour lutter contre leur disparition…
Panda’s zijn zo schattig. Ze eten bamboe, zijn joviaal, het symbool van WWF. Niet alleen kinderen zijn er gek op en ze zijn fotogeniek. Het probleem is echter dat ze met uitsterven bedreigd zijn. Om te overleven, strijden onze panda’s met veel verbeelding, humor en sarcasme tegen de ontbossing en vernietiging van hun leefwereld. Hun reacties zijn echter altijd een beetje naast de kwestie, laat staan dat ze met werkelijke oplossingen komen voor hun problemen. Maar de moed verliezen ze nooit.
