synopsis

The dramatised reconstruction of a happening held on the Place des Martyrs in Brussels on May 10, 2008. Thirty actors, dressed like riot-policeman... six horses and three dogs in a 'tableau-vivant' with national flags and other 'empirical' attributes. Once in a while, one of the actors yells a slogan like 'Long live the King!' 'Long live the spring!' 'Long live the republic!' 'Long live women!' ...
Une représentation adaptée d’un événement qui s’est tenu sur la Place des Martyrs à Bruxelles le 10.05.2008. Trente acteurs habillés en policiers d’émeutes, six chevaux et trois chiens apparaissent dans un « tableau-vivant » avec des drapeaux nationaux et d’autres attributs « empiriques ». De temps en temps, l’un des acteurs crie un slogan comme « Longue vie au Roi ! », « Longue vie au printemps ! », « Longue vie à la République ! », « Longue vie aux femmes »,... etc.
