Two children sit silently in a car, both immersed in their own thoughts and unsure about where their journey will take them.

synopsis

"Do you remember last summer when we played 'Always go straight ahead'"? Elise and her brother Morris sit silently in the car both deep in thought: he looks outside through his crystal ball, turning reality upside down; she stares blankly and hardly watches the road. Then they reach a deserted crossing and decide to start a journey. They know where it starts but have no idea where it will end...
“Te rappeles-tu du jeux qu’on jouait l’été dernier: ‘toujours tout droit’?” Elise et son frère Morris sont assis silencieusement dans la voiture. Ils ont l’air préoccupé. Morris jette un coup d’oeil dans sa boule de crystal et voit ainsi le monde à l’envers. Elise fixe le regard devant elle sans faire attention à la route. Jusqu’à ce qu’ils arrivent devant un carrefour délaissé. A ce moment là, ils décident de commencer un voyage. Un voyage don’t ils connaissent seul le point de départ et non la ligne d’arrivée. Si même il y en a une.
“Weet je nog vorige zomer, toen we ‘altijd rechtdoor’ hebben gespeeld?” Elise en haar broer Morris zitten zwijgend in de auto. Ze lijken allebei diep in hun gedachten verzonken. Morris kijkt naar buiten door zijn glazen bol en zet zo de realiteit op zijn kop. Elise staart bezorgd voor zich uit en let amper op de weg. Tot ze aan een verlaten kruispunt komen. Daar beslissen de twee om een reis te ondernemen waarvan ze weten waar ze begint, maar niet waar ze eindigt. Als ze ooit eindigt...
