synopsis

Rosie & Moussa is a movie based on the children's books by Michael De Cock and Judith Vanistendael. Rosie and her mum move to the other side of town. In her new apartment building, Rosie meets Moussa. Together, the two of them wander off to the roof, even though it's strictly forbidden. On the rooftop, Moussa promises Rosie he will go with her when she visits her dad, who is in prison. Rosie wants nothing more than to bring her mum and dad back together, but will she succeed? Because mum doesn't want anything more to do with dad... and to make matters worse, she falls in love with another man.
Rosie verhuist met haar moeder naar de andere kant van de stad. In het nieuwe appartementsgebouw leert ze Moussa kennen. Samen gaan ze tot op het dak, hoewel dat verboden is. Daar belooft Moussa aan Rosie dat hij samen met haar haar papa zal opzoeken, die in de gevangenis zit. Rosie wil niets liever dan haar vader en moeder weer bij elkaar brengen, maar zal dat ook lukken? Want mama wil geen woord meer tegen papa zeggen… en tot overmaat van ramp wordt ze verliefd op een andere man.
