synopsis

Completely out of the blue, William and Olga are faced with the the fact that their only daughter, six-year-old Sandra, is diagnosed with MLD, a rare muscular disease. She has about a year left to live. Their entire world comes crashing down. The father refuses to give up hope and he engages in a fierce battle with the pharmaceutical industry.
Totaal onverwacht krijgen William en Olga te horen dat hun enige dochtertje Sandra (6) lijdt aan de zeldzame spierziekte MLD. Ze heeft nog ongeveer een jaar te leven. De wereld van het gezin stort in elkaar. De vader weigert de hoop op te geven en gooit zich in een verbeten strijd tegen de farma-industrie.
