synopsis

The Tersagos are an unconventional family company: clowns in the daytime, criminals at night. They get arrested on suspicion of robbery with murder, but are released due to a lack of evidence - except for son Wesley. He has a lot more to answer for. Sister Amber decides to finish Wesley's insane reality film herself. Father Ronny wants to say goodbye to crime and to launder the millions they looted to make a musical. Then two police investigators pay them a visit, apparently aware of all the details of their crime. The stolen money belongs to a homicidal Russian drug lord. The family fears that their days are numbered... During the premiere of their musical, an armed man sneaks backstage. At the same time, son Wesley plots his escape from prison.
De Tersago's zijn een onconventioneel familiebedrijf: overdag clowns, 's nachts criminelen. Naar aanleiding van hun roofmoord in een Brasschaatse villa worden ze gearresteerd, maar bij gebrek aan bewijzen weer vrijgelaten. Op zoon Wesley na, die heeft immers nog wel wat meer op zijn kerfstok. Zus Amber beslist om Wesley's waanzinnige reality-film zelf verder af te maken. Vader Ronny wil de misdaad vaarwel zeggen en het kleine miljoen euro dat ze buitmaakten, witwassen met de productie van een musical. Dan worden Ronny en zijn compagnon Lou benaderd door twee politie-inspecteurs die hen wel degelijk van roofmoord verdenken. Het gestolen miljoen zou toebehoren aan een machtige Russische drugsbaron. De Tersago's beseffen dat hun leven aan een zijden draadje hangt. Tijdens de première van hun musical sluipt een gewapende man het theater binnen en plant zoon Wesley een ontsnapping uit de gevangenis.
