Seeing is Believing examines the use of small- format personal video cameras by activists, non- governmental organisations and newscasters as a means of documenting human rights violations around the world. The film uses comparative case studies, multiple archival sources, broadcast news and a full spectrum of participant interviews, expert commentary as well as original actuality on location.
Seeing is Believing examine l’utilisation des caméras d’amateurs de petit format par des activistes, des organisations non-gouvernementales et les présentateurs de journaux pour documenter les violations des droits de l’homme à travers le monde. Le film utilise des cas d’études comparatifs, plusieurs sources d’archives, des nouvelles diffusées et un éventail d’interviews de participants, de commentaires d’experts aussi bien que l’actualité d'origine sur le lieu.
