Lorsque Christine découvre le corps sans vie d’un enfant, sa vie bascule. L’enfant a été tué dans un accident de voiture et laissé pour mort par l’auteur qui a commis un délit de fuite. Le village tout entier est dans un état d’indignation et plus la recherche du meurtrier avance, plus des secrets sont révélés. La mort de l’enfant devient une occasion pour régler les vieilles histoires et partir à la recherche du bonheur personnel. Mais, à la fin, personne n’est innocent. Someone Else’s Happiness est le premier long métrage de Fien Troch.
