synopsis

The present... the Belgian coast. Bruno Weyns is a thirtysomething geek who has a crush on the waitress at a local seaside tavern in Ostend. He is devastated to find out she might lose her job because of bad weather forecasts. Later that day, he falls asleep on an empty beach and when he wakes up he is badly sunburnt. Bruno is not Bruno anymore, but a superhero named 'Burned Man'.
