The Imposters est une comédie douce et amère, inspirée du roman "Soft Soap" de Willem Elsschot. Belgique, 1935. Un pigiste se voit offrir un job inespéré par un éditeur apparemment respectueux. Très vite, il découvrira que son « sauveur » est un escroc de grande envergure. Le statut et l'argent contre la tranquillité d'esprit... Combien de temps va-t-il supporter cette situation avant de faire un choix définitif ?
