When he is questioned by the police, he causes the Ghent examining magistrate Jensens to fall down as he wanted Depraeter to kill his wife. Based on a true story.

Lorsqu’un gendarme donne l’ordre à un garagiste d’ouvrir le coffre de sa voiture, ils découvrent un trésor d’actions, de bijoux, d’or et de liasses. Ils ont été dérobés à un vieux chanteur d’opéra. Le garagiste a conduit la voiture à la demande de Jules Depraeter, un homme d’affaires de Gand bon vivant et suspecté. Lorsqu’il est interrogé par la police, cela mène à la perte du magistrat Jensens, qui voulait que Depraeter tue sa femme. Inspiré d’une histoire vraie.
