synopsis

The K. File (Dossier K.) is a hard-hitting crime thriller, reuniting the buddy cops from the internationally acclaimed The Alzheimer Case. This time they are a bit older, a bit more cautious, and struggling with the 'new approach' to crime control. The film plunges us into a violent clash between two worlds: the Albanian mountain clans trying to hold on to their ancient codes, and a modern metropolis desperately protecting its brittle privileges from invasion. Caught in the eye of that storm are a young Albanian on a mission-of-honour to avenge his father and a lovesick cop dead set on stopping the blood feud. By the time both find out they've been manipulated from the outset, they are on a fatal collision course.

Selon les lois du Kanun, le code d’honneur séculaire venu des montagnes inhospitalières d’Albanie, le sang appelle le sang et les victimes tombent les unes après les autres. Een brutale moord op een spilfiguur van de Albanese maffia in Antwerpen zet een onontkoombare clanoorlog in gang. Volgens de wetten van de Kanun, een eeuwenoude erecode uit de onherbergzame bergen van Albanië, moet bloed worden gewroken met bloed en het is dan ook een kwestie van tijd voor er meer slachtoffers vallen. Erik Vincke en Freddy Verstuyft worden meegesleurd in een noodlottige spiraal waaruit niemand nog lijkt te kunnen ontsnappen. Dossier K. is een meeslepende politiethriller over passie, verraad, wraak, blinde ambitie en de onontkoombaarheid van het noodlot.
