After the death of his strictly religious parents, forlorn young Darkly gets lost in the woods. A truck driver, Jude, rescues the exhausted man, who has only a bible for comfort. He brings him to the house of Callie and Clay, two lovers who live in the forest. While Clay is away in the forest, beautiful Callie nurses Darkly back to health, and he develops an obsession with her that is totally contrary to his upbringing - a sexual obsession.

synopsis

After the death of his strictly religious parents, forlorn young Darkly gets lost in the woods. A truck driver, Jude, rescues the exhausted man, who has only a bible for comfort. He brings him to the house of Callie and Clay, two lovers who live in the forest. While Clay is away in the forest, beautiful Callie nurses Darkly back to health, and he develops an obsession with her that is totally contrary to his upbringing - a sexual obsession. When Clay returns home and Darkly sees the two lovers kiss, it is too much for him. Every night he hears them making love. Darkly's descent into madness has begun...
Après la mort de ses parents très religieux, le jeune Darkly, désespéré, se perd dans les bois. Jude, un conducteur de camion, sauve l’homme épuisé qui n’a qu’une bible comme bien. Il l’emmène dans la maison de Callie et Clay, deux amoureux vivant dans la forêt. Alors que Clay est parti dans la forêt, Callie soigne Darkly afin qu’il retrouve la santé. Il développe une obsession sur elle totalement contraire à son éducation – une obsession sexuelle. Lorsque Clay revient à la maison et que Darkly voit les deux amants s’embrasser, il a trop de mal à le supporter. Tous les soirs il les entend faire l’amour. La descente dans la folie de Darkly a commencé…
