For the 1999 elections, two new political parties appeared in Belgium : ALIVE / VIVANT led by the millionaire Roland Duchatelet who invested 4,5 millions Euro. The other one is TARTE, created by the pieman, Noel Godin and his friends Robert Dehoux and Benoît Poelvoorde. Investment : a pack of Zottegem beer Motto : Revolt by laughter Jan Bucquoy followed them during the campaign, which resulted in the defeat of both parties. The most "alive" of the two is not the one that you think.
