Tom Waes delves into the long history of Flanders, asking who lived here over the centuries, what their lives were like, and how they shaped our history. Over 10 episodes, The Story of Flanders immerses the viewer in the past, with speculative, high-quality re-enactments, with strong stories, and strong characters.
In deze reeks duikt Tom Waes de geschiedenis van Vlaanderen in. Want door de eeuwen heen is hier veel gebeurd. Wie waren de mensen die hier voor ons rondliepen? Hoe leefden ze? Hoe hebben ze onze geschiedenis bepaald? Het Verhaal van Vlaanderen brengt de geschiedenis tot leven. We zijn erbij als de vikings onze streken terroriseren. Of wanneer de Eburonen zich verzetten tegen de Romeinen. Tien afleveringen lang dompelt Het Verhaal van Vlaanderen de kijker helemaal onder in het verleden met spectaculaire, kwaliteitsvolle re-enactments, met sterke verhalen en dito personages.
