synopsis

A courtroom thriller about law and justice, morality and ethics, and about how a man takes on the state. When his wife's murderer is released due to a procedural error, Luc is determined to do everything in his power to prevent it. He decides to take the law into his own hands and do battle with the legal system which let him down.
Un thriller juridique qui aborde les thèmes du droit et de la justice, de la morale et de l'éthique, et de comment un homme se livre à un combat contre l'Etat de droit. Lorsque le meurtrier de sa femme est libéré suite à une erreur de procédure, Luc Segers met tout en oeuvre pour empêcher la libération. Il décide de rétablir la justice personnellement et s'en prend ensuite à l'Etat de droit qui l'a laissé tomber.
Een rechtbankthriller over recht en rechtvaardigheid, over moraal en ethiek, en over hoe één man de strijd aanbindt met de rechtsstaat. Als de moordenaar van zijn vrouw door een procedurefout wordt vrijgelaten, slaan bij Luc Segers de stoppen door. Hij neemt het recht in eigen handen, en zal zich daarna meten met de rechtsstaat die hem in de steek heeft gelaten.
