Title Safe III is the third episode of the project Title Safe, in which Walter Verdin asks video artist colleagues to make a short video each. There is no set topic. Each artist works autonomously according to a few simple rhythmical and technical editing rules.

Title Safe III is the third episode of the project Title Safe. Walter Verdin asks colleagues to each make a short video. There is no set topic. Each artist works autonomously according to a few simple technical editing rules. The title refers to a technical term used in video and television editing studios: 'title safe area', the part of the video image where text may safely be inserted. Each artist is free to communicate his own 'plaisir du texte' to the public - or not. This minimal framework allows Verdin to combine and mix these works into an integrated musical whole.
Title Safe III est le troisième épisode du projet Title Safe. Walter Verdin demande à ses collègues qui travaillent dans la vidéo de réaliser une courte vidéo chacun. Il n’y a pas de sujet imposé. Chaque artiste travaille de manière autonome selon quelques règles rythmiques et techniques de montage. Title Safe représente délibérément une structure vide. Le titre réfère au terme technique utilisé dans les studios de montage de vidéo et de télévision : « title safe area », la partie de l’image vidéo sur laquelle le texte peut être inséré. Water Verdin offre cette partie de l’image vidéo à ses collègues travaillant dans la vidéo et les médias ; chaque artiste étant libre de communiquer ou pas son propre «plaisir du texte » au public. Cette structure minimale permet à Walter Verdin de combiner et mixer ces travaux dans un tout musical.
