Things are looking good for Italian car salesman Valentino - or they would be if he really was Italian.

synopsis

Valentino (39) is a successful Italian car salesman engaged to Monique, his boss's daughter. But there's a problem; he's not Italian! When his father suffers a heart attack, he makes an emotional appeal to his son. Valentino agrees, but this puts his promotion to sales director in doubt and, to complicate matters further, Monique starts to doubt his sincerity. To keep the love of his life, Valentino needs to lose his Italian mask.
Valentino (39 ans) est un Italien vendeur de Maserati à qui tout réussit. Il est sur le point d'obtenir une promotion et de se marier avec Monique, la fille de son patron. Mais Valentino a un problème: il n'est en réalité pas italien! Suite à une attaque cardiaque, son père demande à Valentino quelque chose qu'il ne peut refuser. Valentino fait une promesse solennelle qui menace cependant de faire tomber à l'eau sa promotion. Pire que tout encore: à cause de tous ses mensonges, Monique commence à douter de lui. Afin de garder l'amour de sa vie, Valentino devra tomber le masque italien.
Valentino (39) is een succesvolle Italiaanse Maserati-verkoper en heeft een relatie met Monique, de dochter van zijn baas. Hij staat op het punt promotie te maken en met zijn grote liefde te trouwen. Maar Valentino heeft één probleem; hij is namelijk geen Italiaan! Als zijn vader een hartaanval krijgt, doet hij een emotioneel beroep op zijn zoon. Valentino stemt in, maar al snel dreigt zijn promotie tot directeur hierdoor volledig in het water te vallen. En erger nog; door alle smoezen begint Monique te twijfelen aan zijn liefde. Om de vrouw van zijn dromen te behouden, zal Valentino zijn Italiaanse masker af moeten zetten.
