synopsis

This story follows five very different men and their struggles with women, family and work. Wouter is a loveably chaotic fellow, whose professional dreams have just fallen apart. When his casual girlfriend Nicki informs him she's pregnant, Wouter is truly in over his head. His brother Tim, though, has done everything right - always: university, marriage, family. But is he happy? This question doesn't even occur to heartthrob Vincent... His life is one sensual rush. Then there's Bruno, who's desperately seeking someone to belong to; and abandoned train driver Roland, fighting with all his might to get his family back. Who will come out ahead?
Wouter is een romantische ziel, die zich nog niet meteen wil binden aan zijn kersverse vriendin Nicky...tot blijkt dat ze zwanger is. Zijn broer Tim daarentegen heeft alles helemaal gepland, een topjob in de reclame en hij staat op trouwen met zijn jeugdliefde .. alleen worstelt hij plots met cold feet. Misschien moet hij de bloemetjes toch nog maar es buitenzetten? Vincents leven als muziekproducer is bijzonder spannend met elke dag wel een ander feestje en een nieuw poeplief. Alleen hangt hij, door een deal met de platenmaatschappij, vast aan Bruce, de populaire charmezanger die de wereld met zijn songteksten wil verbeteren. Ook tramchauffeur Roland zou graag zijn wereld veranderen door zijn ex-vrouw Suzanne terug voor zich te winnen. En Bruno hoopt eindelijk de ware te vinden ... via een datingsite, maar een bezoekje aan de dierenspeciaalzaak is net iets interessanter.
