When Black Kelly gets back from New York, she discovers that more has changed than just her hair colour while she's been away. Frederic found himself a girlfriend and plans to move. Kurt and Blonde Kelly live together with their one-year-old child. And Patrick's gone. Reunited with the old gang, Black Kelly realises that life went on during her absence and that things will never be the same...
Lorsque Kelly la brune revient de New York, elle découvre que, outre sa couleur de cheveux, beaucoup de choses ont changé durant son absence. Réunie à son ancien groupe d’amis, elle se rend compte que la vie a suivi son cours pendant son absence.
Wanneer Zwarte Kelly terugkeert uit New York, merkt ze dat er meer veranderd is dan haar haarkleur. Met uitzondering misschien van cafébaas Nick, die nog altijd dezelfde is. Frederic heeft nu een vriendin en maakt plannen om te verhuizen. Kurt en Blonde Kelly wonen samen en hebben een zoontje van één jaar. En Patrick, die is niet meer. Herenigd met de oude vriendenbende, beseft Zwarte Kelly dat het leven tijdens haar afwezigheid gewoon doorging. En dat het nooit meer wordt zoals vroeger...
