synopsis

Filip Lenaerts travels to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, to visit a circus school where street kids are trained to become acrobats and jugglers and is struck by Jemanez, a girl in the new class, who has a real talent. But one morning a sickly woman is standing at the school gate: it's Jemanez's mother. She has AIDS and asks for her daughter to accompany her on a voyage to her home village. Jemanez leaves school and disappears and the reporter tries to trace her.
Filip Lenaerts voyage à destination d’Addis Abada, en Ethiopie, pour visiter une école de cirque où des enfants de la rue s’entraînent pour devenir acrobates ou jongleurs et il est frappé par Jemanez, une jeune fille dans la nouvelle classe, qui a un réel talent. Mais un jour, une femme malade attend à l’entrée de l’école : c’est la mère de Jemanez. Elle est atteinte du Sida et demande à sa fille de l’accompagner dans son village natal. Jemanez quitte l’école et disparaît, tandis que le reporter essaie de la retrouver.
