synopsis

At an art fair, a body is discovered with four stab wounds. Commissioner Ziggurat and Lieutenant Le Bon investigate the case, but without success. A facial composite of a suspicious canvas - drawn by a mechanical agent - eventually helps them on their way. They set a trap with a conceptual art manifesto as bait. The ruse works: the suspicious canvas shows up, but escapes. During the ensuing chase, the mechanical agent disables the canvas with a crossbow. The 'perpetrator', an art student, is not arrested. According to Ziggurat, bad art is the real culprit.
Un corps portant quatre blessures par arme blanche est découvert lors d'une foire d'art. Le commissaire Ziggurat et le lieutenant Le Bon enquêtent sur l'affaire, mais sans succès. Un dessin robot d'une toile suspecte - dessinée par un agent mécanique - finit par les aider dans leur cheminement. Ils ont tendu un piège en utilisant un manifeste d’art conceptuel comme appât. La ruse fonctionne : la toile suspecte se présente, mais s'échappe. Au cours de la poursuite qui s'ensuit, l'agent mécanique désactive la toile avec une arbalète. Le « coupable », un étudiant en art, n’est pas arrêté. Selon Ziggurat, le mauvais art est le véritable coupable.
Op een kunstbeurs wordt een lijk met vier messteken ontdekt. Commissaris Ziggurat en luitenant Le Bon onderzoeken de zaak, maar zonder succes. Een robottekening van een verdacht schildersdoek - getekend door een mechanische agent - helpt hen uiteindelijk op weg. Ze zetten een val op met een conceptueel kunstmanifest als lokaas. De list werkt : het verdachte canvas daagt op, maar ontsnapt. Tijdens de daarop volgende achtervolging schakelt de mechanische agent het doek uit met een kruisboog. De ‘dader’, een kunststudent, wordt niet gearresteerd. Volgens Ziggurat is slechte kunst de ware schuldige.
